HASSRA Water-ski Taster |
|
Sheffield Cable Water-ski is situated in the picturesque setting of Rother Valley Country Park in Sheffield.
The cable is a
great place to learn to kneeboard or water-ski.
Most people have
heard of water-skiing, but expect a boat. The easiest way of describing how the
cable ski works is by comparing it to a snow ski lift, it's supported by four
towers around the lake and rather than running up the mountain, it runs around
the lake.
The beauty of the
cable is that it is constantly running (doesn't need to stop for you to have
your go) and up to 8 people can ski around at one time - making it a great
social activity for riders and spectators alike.
You'll benefit
from the easy starting position on the dock - you can slide off from here on a kneeboard or skis.
We are organising a one hour session at
Participants
will be expected to make their own way to the Cable.
